A lovely map, as it was before, though now with a few updates to go with it. :)
IMPERIAL STRONGHOLD v1.1 UPDATE : -fog is now grey -fixed the impass map because some places were difficult to enter -changed the positions of some control points to improve the balance -added a new loading screen -fixed some other mistakes COMPABILITY : Dawn of War - Winter Assault Dawn of War - Dark Crusade INSTALLATION : Place the following files into the THQ\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade\DXP2\Data\scenarios\mp folder: 8p_imperial_stronghold.sgb 8p_imperial_stronghold.tga 8p_imperial_stronghold_icon.tga 8p_imperial_stronghold_mm.tga Place the following files into the THQ\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade\DXP2\Data\scenarios\mp\loading folder: 8p_imperial_stronghold.tga from the "loading" folder GAMEPLAY : 8 players, 4vs4, players 1-4 vs players 5-8 DESCRIPTION : The Battle takes place in and infront of an imperial fortress which is under siege. Players 1-4 start in the fortress but not close together. Player 1 starts on the last section and will have to support player 3 or 4 who start at the steps between the first an the second section. Player 2 should support them too but should also protect the launching pad and the cathedral from storm troops. Players 5-8 start infront of the fortress in entrenched positions. Players 5 and 8 have easy access to relics at the beginning. This is my first map and i didn't focus much on balance but on athmosphere :D I like those situations in movies when the last defenders of a fortress fight bravely against an attacking force which outnumbers them, so i decided to make a fortress map for DoW. I tested it many times against the AI and I think although I didn't balance it perfectly none of the two sides have a big advantage/disadvantage. Have fun and leave comments :) P.S.
