Huh, now this is a handy mod. 'tis a minor enhancement to unit AI which enables them to use their upgraded abilities without the need for you to micromanage them all the time.
On the plus side, this does mean that you can leave effective vanguard forces covering your ass while you focus on your frontline army, which is great. Often, deployed squads you leave behind for defense would be ineffective due to not using the full range of weaponry. No need to worry about that any more.
Downside, well, the AI doesn't have the best timings when using abilities. They'll tend to just use them when they're available rather than at the best moment. Still, it's far better than nothing, and having the game rely entirely on you for micromanagement.
Pretty neat mod. Oh, you don't need to worry about units automatically spamming away your resources, though. Any ability requiring a resource is exempt from this mod, thus those will still require manual activation.
