This 1v1 map has very few strategic points so as to focus the game more on strategy than sheer force of numbers. The map contains 5 requisition points and only 1 relic.

Description: ================================================================ This is a 2 player 256 x 256 map designed for Dawn of War - Winter Assault with rather few strategic points as to make the contenders focus more on the strategic part of the game instead of massive, overwhelmed by numbers, combat. I also designed the map with the Heroes-RPG Mod in the back of my mind, thinking about increased shooting range and such, so you might want to download this particular Mod, if you aren`t already using it. There are 5 requisition points, 1 is within deployment range of each base, while the others possibly need fighting to assure your next strategic position. Due to the relatively low amount of listening post locations, i instead have placed extra critical locations for those desperately in need of requistion but also because i find it to be more entertaining to fight over a point which is just as easily lost as it was gained. Only 1 relic is available which, speaking for the, mechanical death-fearing, troopers, lucky enough unreachable by vehicle. All the other locations are somewhat evenly distributed across the map. And last but not least, i have geen so generous to give both players a starting slag deposit closely near the base, so that you won`t have any trouble building those ravaging machines when needed. Interesting to note is that i have created a lot of cover, both heavy and light a like, so you`ll find that fighting with the normal troopers in the beginning can be quite rewarding.
