Here's the first ever Badge and Banner pack from CaliBeR!
Thanks for downloading this. email me at [email protected] or [email protected] Note that I didn't seperate the badges and banners this time, so installation should be a lot easier, if less imformed (that's my pathetic excuse for seperating the files previously). These bagdes, banners and color schemes were originally intended to be used with Space Marine Armies, but why not try them on others as well? These files can be used with any Dawn of War game, not just Dark Crusade. Also, if you would like custom badges or banners (or entire army kits) made, or just have some cool ideas you would love to see put into fruition, email me and tell me about your idea, I'll try my best.


*NOTE: THIS CONTAINS THE FILES FOR THE SHOCK TROOPERS ARMY THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY UPLOADED, ALTHOUGH THAT FILE DID NOT CONTAIN THE .teamcolour, WHICH IS INCLUDED THIS TIME. THIS PACK ALSO INCLUDES A FEW BADGES AND/OR BANNERS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY OF THE ARMY SCHEMES*

INSTALLATION:
------------------------------------


STEP 1:
Unzip folder to somewhere you'll remember.
*NOTE: After step two, the extracted folder CAN be deleted, in fact so can the .zip, but why not keep them, it makes it easier to find and easier to give to your friends. You want to give this to your friends, don't you? (The answer is yes)*


STEP 2:
Badges and banners should be copied into the folders of the same name in your DoW/DoW:WA/DoW:DC game installation folder. (badges have 'badge' at the start of their name, banners have 'banner' at the start of theirs, but you knew that, right?). By default this is one or more of the following folders:


Dawn of War (original vanilla version):

Badges - C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn Of War\Badges
Banners - C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn Of War\Banners


Dawn of War: Winter Assault:

Badges - C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn Of War\Badges
Banners - C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn Of War\Banners


Dawn of War: Dark Crusade:

Badges - C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn Of War - Dark Crusade\Badges
Banners - C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn Of War - Dark Crusade\Banners


STEP 3:
Turn on Dawn of War, Dawn of War: Winter Assualt or Dawn of War: Dark Crusade and check out your new badges and banners!


OTHER NOTES FOR INSTALLATION:
The color scheme or '*.teamcolour' file is unnecessary for the badge(s) or banner(s) to work, it is simply a bonus file in case you wish to create the exact same army as the one in the screenshot.

I've included suggested army names and color schemes for the six armies that these files come from; the Shock Troopers, the Death Watch , the Blades of the Emporer, No-Chaos!, the Bio-Marines Core, and the Gamer Army (yes, the one from pure pwnage... wait and see.) and, as a last-minute decision, the Veterans division from the Shock Troopers, deservedly named 'Shock Trooper Veterans'. To find out how to create these armies, read 'applying_color_schemes.txt' in the color values folder. All these chapters are made up, but as there is somewhere around 100, 000 chapters (give or take, I can't remember exactly), who'll notice? They probably really DO exist anyway! That's about it, and may the Emporer be with you!
