File Description

The vast amount of sand dumped here by countless desert hurricanes has all but filled in the once abyssal canyons which lay between these ancient mesas, creating the only way onto this high, rocky plateau for hundreds of miles around. The strategic importance of this location goes without saying. These grand tables can make excellent defensive positions, but avoid being cornered, as the only other exit is a sheer fall to the desert floor below!

One of the routes off the desert floor is slightly narrower than the others and Baneblades don't like it. I reccommend taking your tanks and larger units up the center or right side pathways if possible.

My first map, so please be critical.

PS: Huge credit to adamstrange for his 'strangetextures' packs. They're a must-have. And also credit to monoRAIL (Conor O'Kane) for his sand textures. I recommend checking out his 'sandstorm' map, it's a great map and it made me think of the idea for this one. Visit his website at www.cokane.com
