File Description

This is a 2 player map set on a frontline type battlefield. The 2 armies start off in a highly defendable base and must charge across a mined No Man's Land to attack the other army. Each army has 2 trenches in which to take cover in and have mines set up in No Man's Land. Each trench contains critical locations to capture.

This is a newer version of my Frontlines map that is on the dowfiles.com site as The Vacanet River map. I have taken away 2 flag points at the starting points and put in more crictical locations in the trenches. This is to encourage players to use the trenches more. I have also smoothed out a few things on the map to make it look better. These are just small changes.

Installation
------------
Just put all the map (FrontLines) files into the directory

c:\<Your Dawn of War directory>\W40k\Data\Scenarios\MP.

If the Scenarios or MP folders are not there then you will have to create them.

Notes
-----
-> The mines in No Man's Land are Space Marine because they looked the most generic.
You don't just have to be Space Marines to play this level.
-> Also, to try and make the map look better I have just used Ork and Guard bodies
in the map. This is to make the feel of just 2 armies fighting across the trenches.
-> The Trenches provide heavy cover for any troops inside them. Craters provide light
cover.
-> With no strategic points other than in the base, Eldar armies have a slight advantage
on this map (because of their ability to build webways anywhere).
