Orbital support fire from vessels in the battle fleet around Mehnra have decimated the local defences in the drop zone. Push onwards to secure the high ground before the defenders rally their forces.

Nitty Gritty:
Everyone probably knows this by now but...Unzip the data into;
C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War\W40k\Data
There are custom decals/textures in the Art folder.
Map size 512 x 512
4 players: 2vs2 Teams recommended only due to starting positions.
3 Critical Locations
18 Strategic Points
2 Relics
2 Slag Heaps

Your  Mission should you choose to accept it:
This senario is the first map in the Mehnra Series: Planetary defence systems have restricted the assault to a handfull of locations - your mission is to gain a solid foothold in this area. Once a nearby bunker system has been secured, use it as a staging point for controlling the main arterial roads in the area. Beyond these lie the regions Spaceport, Industrial Complexes and City. 
Take and Hold or Control Area are the preferable victory conditions, although Annihilate or Destroy HQ are somewhat fitting also.

Gameplay Changes-
all capture points are layed out on equable grid to make the map contestable.
Flattened start areas to stop floating buildings.
Flattened SP/CritLoc points.
Relocated pretty much all SP locations
Moved player 2 start oppossite to player 4.
Added two slag heaps
Added two relics
moved two critlocs to opposing free corners of the map to encourage a drawn out battle front.
Beautitioned up the Reckoner-
The beachfront has been redone and extended to allow player 2 location change. 
Tweaked some rock and floor decals scale to remove pixelation.
roof bay-door decals
Some topo work to make pathing restricted
added more tanktraps and razor wire defences on the beach.

Beta-
My second map, and first in a series that i'm planning on adapting to a single player campain. There aren't any Relics, primarily to restrict players to lower tier 3 forces as the senario is about an expeditionary force gaining a foot hold for a larger assault force... And i love a good meatgrinder!
