File Description

A 2 vs 2 Team play map based around the Ork invasion of the fortress city of Nova Nottana. The start points may seem odd, since players 1 and 3 are allied, and players 2 and 4, but this is becuase if you have only 2 players, DoW will use spots 1 and 2 no matter what you might want it to do, so this way the map can be played as a 1 v 1 as well. Just remember to set up the teams properly. I have a feeling this messes with the auto teams feature too, but I've never tested it, so I don't actually know. I've taken a bit of flak about the balencing, the Imperial side seems to have a small advantage due to the extra cover it has by the bridges. The options seem to be to put more cover in on the other side, which spoils the feel of the thing as a last ditch defence, or to take the cover out, which does the same. Personally, I can live with it, so you should too. Just put your better players on the offensive.

Included Files:

	Readme.txt
	City.jpg
	Jungle.jpg
	Pumphouse.jpg
	Shrine.jpg
	Crane.jpg
	Nova Nottana.sgb
	Nova Nottana.tga
	Nova Nottana_icon.tga
	Nova Nottana_icon_custom.tga
	Nova Nottana_mm.tga

Installation Instructions:

Copy the *.tga and *.sgb files into \w40k\data\scenarios\mp direcctory inside your dawn of war install. If this directory does not exist, create it.

Known Bugs:

Units will shoot at crazy angles to hit things standing on the top of the cliffs. This is down to the way the DoW engine interprets lines of sight, and I don't think there's anything that can be done about it.
The Mini Map display is all stretchy weird bad around the edges. I've tried various things with mm_custom files, but they've all led to one form of cock up or another. If anyone knows precisely how to make this go away, please tell me.
This map uses a LOT of objects, sorry, it's the only way to make really large buildings. If you don't have a pretty powerful machine, don't expect smooth game play.
