This mod will allow you to create army lists including weapons and researches as well as (of course) vehicles and infantry for DoW. Those army lists will then be used in a normal DoW game both online as well as in a skirmish game.

Once you have installed the mod you will have a new victory condidtion that you must check to activate it. The new victory condition will not trigger a win. So you also have to use another victory condition as well.

As of Beta 0.4 you can use the editor to edit your army lists. See below for further instructions.

The next step will be to create an online-capable application that will do the file-management for you, allowing easier startup of an online game.

But even now you can play online with your friends! Instructions on how to do that are as follows

The army list files supplied with the mod are not race specific. The editor can switch races while editing a single army list file. The different races armies will then be spawned, depending on your in.game race choise. Editing more than one (or any) race specific army for the different slots is optional.

-INSTALLATION-

Simply copy the data folder inside that came with this mod into <DoW-Root>/<wh40k> overwriting the data folder already there.
But don't worry, there are no files overwritten by this mod as it is completely clean.

After copying, you should have the following folder / file structure:

<DoW-Root> <--- wh40k.exe is here
.<W40k>
..<Data>   <--- from here on, you might have to create the folders if they are missing
...<scar>  <--- a total of 8+6 files are here, named SU_player_X, X from 0-7. Those are the army list files. Also, the editor goes here, for another 6 Files.
....<winconditions>  <--- another 2 files go here, namely presetupgame.scar as well as presetupgame_local.lua

Delete the new files. There are no other changes required.

-HOW TO USE THE EDITOR-
-----------------------

1) The Editor is (at least for now) written in Java. That means that you'll have to have the Java VM installed on your computer. You can get it at java.sun.com
2) To Start the editor, simply double-click on the PSA.bat that came with the mod. Make sure that all the files are in the same directory.
3) If you get any kind of error message regarding Java not found, please check to see if you can find java.exe by yourself. If you can, edit either your Path settings or the PSA.bat file to include the path to java.exe. If you do not know how to edit your path settings, you should not attempt it.
3.1) If you can't get it to run, ask in the tread ;)
4) The Interface itself should be fairly simple, but don't try to test it's stability - you'll propably crash it and maybe loose your current army. The interface is only temporary, so I did not bother to harden it.

5) There are functions missing from the Editor that should be there. This is still a beta version and new features will come soon.
	-planned features include: edit / delete squads; set initial Control Group, set initial squad stance, support for different installation directories, support for multiple races per slot, loading of army list files ...

-HOW TO SETUP A ONLINE GAME-
----------------------------

1) You need to check with your friends about who is going to play at which player slot from 0-7 (the host always being slot 0)
2) Create a new army list (or re-use an existing one, but make sure the filename and function name is correct) for your player slot.
	To do this, you need to open the file SU_Player_[number].scar located in:

	<DOW-Root> <--- wh40k.exe is here
	.<w40k>
	..<data>
	...<scar>  <--- lists are here

	Where [number] is your to-be player slot.

3) Send your friends your own army list. They all need to copy them into the folder above, overwriting existing files. 
	!It is important that everyone has the same files in the same position or you will get sync errors.!
4) Gather online and play.
