Remarks:
* This requires a full v0.3 of the manager. * Follow the install steps below.
Another very long delay between releases. I actually was intending not to update the project any further, but I saw a friend playing v1.30 and got the itch :)
I appologise to all those people who have mailed me about the source that I promised to release to them. Life has been far to busy lately. I really didn't want to release a sub-standard product that would be easier for everyone else to just start from scratch.
It seems now that my studies are easing up a bit, so I may get more of a chance to make more updates. If this is the case, I want to delay the release of the source a bit longer. This application being my first using .NET, it really isn't what it should be and a real bitch to adjust to new patch releases.
This new release should work on v1.30, let me know if it doesn't. :)
Features: (15 Jun 2005, 00:26)
* Supports v1.30 replays * Version column A warning about the version I display here. This isn't entirely accurate. What I'm using is the replay version, not the patch version. Up till now its always been v1 but with the v1.30 release, this value sits at v2. Basically, I assume that v1 means v1.20 and below. v2 means v1.30 and above. Any newer releases will not be handled too well. Basically, if its not v1 or v2, I'll display a '-' in the field. * XP DateTime bug fix * One or two minor changes which I made back in Jan/Feb 2005, can't remember what they are :)
Shiver's W40K Replay Manager v0.4 =================================== WARNING: Please backup all your replays before making use of this application. ================================================================== Remarks: * This requires a full v0.3 of the manager. * Follow the install steps below. Run W40KRM.exe. If it doesn't find your DoW installation directory automatically, you'll need to select it through the window which appears. Click stuff. :) To rename or delete replay files, right click on one in the list. Or alternatively use the keyboard shortcuts. ================================================================== Known Issues: * You need to rename the temp.rec replay name before you can delete the file from within the Replay Manager. * The check boxes for the Win Conditions are editable. IE: You can change their state. However this does not get saved and the regular settings will be retrieved once your refresh the file. * If you are missing any of the image folders, map_icons, race_icons, ui_icons this could cause untold misery. You have been warned! * You can't have two identical game names :( This I hope to solve only in the next release. Its a bug which I only realised way after I had designed everything. If you find anything else, please mail me or contact me on either the relicnews.com or dow.sanctuary forums. Best use the email if you want to get a speedy response. :) ================================================================== ChangeLog v.032 Remarks: Yet another update to v0.3. Good news though is that you don't need to have updated v0.3 with v0.31 to use this patch. Just have a full v0.3 and extract the files in this archive over the originals. Thanks for those that mail me or post the bugs on the forums. Its a great help :) l8r Shiver Features: (31 Jan 2005 8:23) * No new features in this one. Just a bug fix with regards to player badges and images. ================================================================== ChangeLog v0.31 Remarks: Not a totally new release, but just one or two bug fixes and the ability to view player chat has been added. l8r Shiver Features (25 Jan 2005 07:22) * Player Chat View * Minor Bug Fixes ================================================================== ChangeLog v0.3 Remarks: Ok, a very long delay between the last release and this one, but for very good reasons. I wanted to hold off a bit so that I could hopefully deliver a more complete app instead of a "bit by bit". Several late nights once again went into this applications development. I must say though, it was more fun than it wasn't. :D To make future updates a bit easier and to clean up the garbage that was the code of the former two releases, I started completely from scratch. This of course could not be done without the extremely helpful dev guys from Relic(thanks George!! :D). As always, any thoughts, suggestions or bugs can be mailed to me at this address: mailto: [email protected] Enjoy Shiver Features (12 Jan 2005 01:20) * Totally reworked application (so there will be bugs... please report them!!) * Automatic DoW playback locator .... Gets this from your registry. If it can't find it there, it will ask you to .... manually go and find the W40k.exe file. * Replay Duration * Game Options * Win Conditions * Mini Map view / Details * Sorting by Date, Duration, Players, Map & Game Name * Race, Banner, Badge and Custom Color icons (players section) ================================================================== ChangeLog v0.2 Remarks: Another late night and I was able to get the internal replay renaming working. This has a great possibilty of screwing up the file though. So make backups! :) Features (10-11-2004 12:55): * Interal Replay renaming * Few extra keyboard shortcuts (Save, Delete, etc) * Player race display * Few fixes ================================================================== ChangeLog v0.1 Features (09-11-2004 01:50): * Map Name / Size * Player name and team detection * Team type viewing (eg: 1v1, 2v2, 2v2v2, etc.) * Replay creation date * Delete a replay * External replay renaming (internal will be working in a day or two :/) ================================================================== mailto: [email protected]
