Credits :

and who even was kind enough to do the french version as well. Many thanks !
Thanks to Pogs for creating the Rhinoz logo.
Thanks to Kresjah, who devised the code to make a specific icon for the Rhino's "strike" ability.
Many thanks to Thudmeizer for creating the AI file. He was a lso the driving force behind the dumping of the Combat squad.
Many thanks to the kind souls of the Relic forums who helped me along the way.
Special thanks to CLR, Palii and Rough Rider for helping me figuring out the basics in 3DSmax and OE.

Description : This mod allows Space Marines players to add several several vehicles to their Dawn of War game.

New units :
The rhino now has the possibility to be upgraded with a Storm Bolter for combat against infantry,
and reinforced against damage (giving it a damage resistance a little above the landspeeder).

The Razorback is a light support tank whose main role is to transport troops and deliver them in the middle of the fight.
It can transport single man units (characters), scouts or Space Marines squads (available at the marines barracks)
It has twin heavy bolters, efficient against infantry, that can be upgraded to lascannons or a Multi Melta(at tech level 3)
It is not as resilient as the Predator and cannot sustain prolonged heavy fighting, but is cheap and quick to produce.

The Vindicator is a heavy assault cannon (available at tech level 3).
It has a big gun, very effective against buildings and vehicles.
It is not very resistant to damage, though.

News for version 2 :

AI : Thanks to the work of Thudmeizer, the AI now builds Razorbacks and Vindicators.

Rhino :
It can now charge through the enemy lines, brushing aside infantry. This ability is much like the Squiggoth's Rampage ability. It is more efficient when the Rhino has been reinforced through the "reinforce rhinos" research.
This Reinforce Rhinos research now brings another advantage : it installs Frag Defenders grenades on the Rhino's hull. These grenades can be detonated at any time and hit all troops that are near the Rhino, allowing it to get free from melee combat for a few second, which is usually more than enough to disengage.
Both the Rhino's cost and the Research's have been slightly increased.
To stay consistent with Relic's patch 1.3, the Rhino's support cap usage has been lowered to 1.

Razorback :
The twin lascannon's efficiency and cost have been matched with those of the Predator's twin lascannon, for consistency.
A new version has been added : the Multi Melta. It has short range, but an excellent armour penetration against vehicles and buildings.
The basic version is armed with Heavy Bolters and can be upgraded to Twin lascannon OR to Multi Melta. Both are available at tech level 3.

New unit : Deathwind support Drop Pod.
It is much like a classical turret, but it can deep strike via Drop Pods on any visible spot on the map. They are available at the Orbital Relay. They have the same cost as classical turrets, but occupy 2 slots in support capacity.

New unit : Damocles command tank
The Damocles command tank holds ultra powerful sensors that give precious data on the battlefield conditions.
It detects enemy units at a much greater range tban any other Space Marine unit, even those enemy who try to infiltrate the Marines' positions.
It maintains a link with nearby tanks, giving them coordinate data allowing for an increase in precision and damage. It also sends static that blurs the enemy's machines' spirits and lower their damage to Marines tanks around the Damocles.
Last, but not least, at tier 3, the Damocles can start a cartography protocol, its sensors revealing a huge portion of the battlefield for a limited time. This allows to see where the enemy units are, but also to deepstrike units very far into the enemy lines.
Be warned, though : this tank is extremey fragile !

The Combat Squad has been dumped to allow compatibility for a greater number of mods.

The Razorback's turret has been taken a bit to the rear, to better match ForgeWorld's model.
The Rhino's stormbolter has been equiped with tracer bullets, to make it clearer on which unit it fires.
The Razorback's and Vindicators textures have been separated from the Rhino's, so as to make them editable separately.
With Melvin_Danes help, the textures have been modified so that the zone next to the exhaust pipes takes the primary colour in the Army painter.
The texture problem on the Vindicator's driving window has been fixed.
Vehicles now appear at the right place in the army painter.
