This map is a 4 player map where each army starts in the corner of the map in a fairly defensive position. The start points are surrounded by mountains/hills that have small passes between them. Each quarter of the map is separated by a line of trees that are passable and provide heavy cover. There is a relic in the middle of the map placed in a break in the trees.
I have tried to make this map more for aggressive play not defensive. Because the trees are passable, you could attack from many places. That being said, I have also provided fairly defensive positions around the start points.
I have designed this map not only four an all-on-all four player game but also to be played in 2v2 mode.
Installation ------------ Just put all Jungle_Pass_1v1 files into the directory c:\<Your Dawn of War directory>\W40k\Data\Scenarios\MP. If the Scenarios or MP folders are not there then you will have to create them. Notes ----- -> I have placed into this map my calling card of a ork jet crashed into a hill. -> The scenes of carnage around the map are supposed to indicate a war torn area. -> Given the size of the passes in the map, attacks generally have to be made in a few positions, not just flooding the enemy (leads to cramping and not all units fighting effectively) Author ----- Matthew aka.
