File Description

This map pits two players against one another from differing positions. Both teams have a starting location with it's own "personality" to it, but one thing in common: One base of operations is NOT going to work in this map. Building placement is crucial to insure units don't become trapped and also increases the number of base raids per game and gives a greater amount of importance to controlling critical areas on the map. This is amplified by the fact that there is only ONE relic on the map. Vehicles can be used on this map but cannot be used for all avenues of approach in many cases (although I've found they can get into either starting location with startling efficiency and results *evil grin*).

From experience I think this map really puts the emphasis on foot based and jump units and tends to become a squad vs. squad slugfest in many cases.

I have seen both camps win at this point so I feel it's pretty balanced as far as advantages and disadvantages but I'm open to comment via the forums at relicnews.com.

I hope you enjoy the map as much as I enjoyed making it.

The Relic of Agrivatus
----------------------

2 Player map for Dawn of War.

Tested on DoW v 1.20.

Intended for Skirmish and Multiplayer play.

Description (from in game - i.e. made up fluff):
A sole relic in rugged terrain surrounding the forbidding Agrivatus River
on the jungle planet Charsis IV sets the stage for a power struggle that
may very well clench the fight for Charsis IV.

Installing:

Place all files in the Dawn Of War/W40k/Data/Scenarios/MP directory. (You may or may not
need to create the directories and subdirectories mentioned in that path).

Uninstalling:

Delete the files:
   The Relic of Agrivatus.sgb
   The Relic of Agrivatus_icon.tga
   The Relic of Agrivatus.tga
   The Relic of Agrivatus_mm.tga

Those files should be located in the Dawn Of War/W40k/Data/Scenarios/MP directory.

Special Thanks to Atrophy31 for helping me play test this map a couple of times (although
I really hate losing on my own maps) and to the Relic for releasing an incredible game
and making it so flexible.
