Xen's Dreadnought texture mod (and fix!) v1.0: (rel: 11-18-04) This is shareware, but i appreciate credit, so please distribute this readme with the file! I was inspired by a dreadnought that i found while browsing online. this is the result. This file will change all dreadnoughts to look like the ones in the screenshot enclosed. This texture will accept teamcolors and badges, but differently than the original: (because there are many changes, they are grouped by body part) TORSO: *moved badge from top of left chassis to front of left chassis. *added "eye" layer; sarcophagus eyeslit, left chassis details and sensor under right shoulder now adjust with eyecolor *added "trim" layer; cross design on right chassis, 3 small boxes on left chassis and roman numeral "II" on left exhaust cowling change with trim color *skull inside cross design on right chassis changes with secondary color *purity seals (not team colorable) added to right exhaust cowling and right front chassis *changed the iron halo on the sarcophagus to copper, matching the crossed skull *added the inscription "matthias" to the scroll on the sarcophagus *changed the exhaust pipes to copper POWERFIST: *badge appears on left shoulder *added "zeal" scroll (not teamcolorable) on left shoulder *added purity seal on right shoulder (not teamcolorable) *added winged skull on shoulder lame above left elbow (trim color) *added crux terminatus on on shoulder lame above right elbow (trim color) *the left powerfist changes with the secondary color. NOTE: the right powerfist is not affected even though accomodations on the texutremap were made. this is likely a UVW error on relic's part. *added skull in circle on right shoulder (trim color) the background field of this symbol changes with the secondary color. NOTE: it also appears on the right powerfist. this is likely the result of a UVW error made by relic. (see above). ASSAULT CANNON: *added "weapon" layer to fix an issue with weapon areas appearing black (applies to lascannon as well). weapon details now change with "weapon color" *added "kill marks" and inscription "Caedete sum eos" (lat: "kill them all"). these change with trim color *detailed the weapon's ammo feed belt LASCANNON: *weapon detail colors fixed (see above) *added "flame" decal. flame edges change with "trim" color. flame body changes with "secondary" color. MISSILE LAUNCHER: *removed badge from missile casing *added "iron halo" (Lat: "orbis ferramatum") and scroll symbol to missile launcher housing. the halo and scroll change with trim color. the text changes with secondary color. LEGS: *the "groin" armor changes with the secondary color *the toes change with the trim color *added "cross and skull" design to right greave. the cross changes with trim color, the skull changes with secondary color *the badge now appears on the left greave Installation: you may need to create the following directory structure. Either way, this is the path required for this file to work ...../dawn of war/w40k/data/art/ebps/races/space_marines/texture_share install these 3 files there: "dreadnought_torso_default.wtp" "dreadnought_legsmissileflamer_default.wtp" "drednought_appendages_default.wtp" This one took forever! firstname.lastname@example.org
