Without surprise, Activision officially confirmed what Boomstickman had known for a long time, that is, a stand-alone version of Resurrection of Evil will see the day of light on Xbox in a short while, somewhere this fall apparently. Besides, the port - developed by Nerve Software (standing in Vicarious Visions) - will be showcased at this year's QuakeCon. While we are on it, if you'd like to live the event just like the attendees, beginning tomorrow you'll be able to do so thru QuakeCon TV LIVE!
Details:
QuakeCon TV LIVE streams are available during the QuakeCon 2005 event starting on August 11th, 2005 at 09:00 AM CST. Stay tuned!
QuakeCon TV uses NullSoft Video (NSV), and will require Winamp to view. Get Winamp today!
There are two streams for you to tune into during the event:
- One is a live broadcast of static cameras all around the convention center, rotating through the various locations.
- Two not only shows live cams around the event, but also mixes in coverage of tournaments, conferences, and other events on-site.
