Yesterday, GameSpy published an article retracing throughout three pages the evolution of the movie -- so to speak. A good reading if you're still pondering about going or not going to the movies when it comes out next month.
I'm standing on the set of the upcoming DOOM film, and, as someone who played all the way through DOOM 3, it's quite a surreal experience. From the dark hallways of the UAC facility to the caverns of the archaeological dig site down to the textures of the corridors, it's as if someone got permission to build a DOOM 3 theme park and tried to rebuild areas of the game brick by brick. It is about as close to standing inside a videogame as one could imagine.
