We have a first time file submitter in our midst! NasalHair is here to supply you with a weapons mod that that will enhance your Doom III gaming experience. The changes made with this mod are not huge, and are not mind-boggling, but they are enough to slightly change your Doom adventure! Some of you that have survival, and other sort of important information on your mind may enjoy and need the visual changes included, such as on the grenade...the instructions for use are now printed on the side.

Some of the changes included are:

  • Pistols are Akimbo
  • Machine gun fire rates and damage are changed
  • Shotgun reloads one shell at a time
  • Chainsaw now requires Fuel and reloads to run
  • Chaingun fire rates and damage are changed
  • Shotgun sprays alot more pellets but do less damage
  • Slight visual changes made to some weapons
  • Some overall changes made include:
    • Max ammo counts
    • Damages inflicted

The developer has also stated that Co-Op Guns does not make the game Co-Op; The name of this download was orinially chosen for use with open-coop.

ATTENTION, THIS MOD DOES NOT MAKE THE GAME CO-OP, 
ITS JUST THE NAME I PICKED BECAUSE I MADE IT FOR PERSONAL USE WITH OPEN-COOP.

This is just a weapons mod I made for me and my wife to play co-op over our LAN.
Pistols are Akimbo and do more damage, flashlight also holds one pistol, wich does less damage.
Machine gun and chaingun fire rates and damage are changed
Shotgun reloads one shell at a time, also sprays alot more pellets that do less damage
Chainsaw now requires Fuel and reloads to run, wich can be gotten from any chainsaw laying around in-game or dropped by sawyer.
Slight visual changes made to some weapons, I.E. instructions printed on the grenade.
Overall changes made, max ammo counts, damages, and so forth, I really dont remember what all I changed.

ALSO:
If the mood strikes me I may update this in the future, I always planned making the wrenches laying around a melee weapon pickup
so be on the lookout for that to be added in the future.  I also have a RoE version in the making.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE:

Take your pick, you can do the following:
1.) put the pk4 in a folder called coopguns and load it as a mod, mind you it wont be coop.
2.) drop the pk4 in your base folder and play it singleplayer.
3.) Do what I did and put it in the OpenCoop 2.0 Alpha folder, for use in local coop games.
