DC Guns - Resurrection of Evil - April, 2005

Instructions:
	Unzip DC_Guns.zip folder.
	Place pak999.pk4 into your Doom3\d3xp folder.
	Start: Start up Resurrection of Evil.
	Uninstall: Delete pak999.pak.

Description: Single player weapons tweak.

No gib. No muzzle smoke.
Common demon corpses remain for one minute before they burn up.

*** WEAPONS *************************************************

The main five lead based weapons each have different firing modes. Each time you raise or reload a gun it will be randomly assigned a firing mode type. You can tell which firing mode you are in by the color of the lasersight.

AT = Auto Trigger mode, point the gun directly at a creature and it will automatically fire, or you can fire by pressing 	the firing button.
Xslug = Explosive slug. Splash damage is given as damage/damage radius.

Pistol: 12 round clip
	Special - (white) - 10 damage, fast firing rate.
	Standard - (green) - 20 damage, normal firing rate.
	Magnum - (blue) - 30 damage, slow firing rate.
	AT Standard - (red) - 20 damage, normal firing rate.
	Xslug - (yellow) - 100/100 splash damage, single shot load.

Machingun: 40 round clip, 15 damage per bullet.
	Single - (white) - single rate of fire.
	Double - (green) - double rate of fire.
	Quad - (blue) - four times the single rate of fire.
	AT Single - (red) - single rate of fire.
	Xslug - (yellow) - 50/50 splash damage, single rate of fire. 

Shotgun: Medium caliber shotgun, 8 round clip, 12 damage per pellet, 12 pellets per shell.
	Buckshot - (white) - fast firing rate.
	Slug - (green) - normal firing rate.
	Slug/Buckshot - (blue) - fires two shells at once, slow firing rate.
	AT Buckshot - (red) - normal firing rate.
	Xslug - (yellow) - 150/150 splash damage, normal firing rate. 

Chaingun: Light caliber shotgun, 60 round belt, 12 damage per pellet, 8 pellets per shell.
	Buckshot - (white) 
	Slug - (green) 
	Slug/Buckshot - (blue) 
	AT Buckshot - (red) 
	Xslug - (yellow) - 120/120 splash damage.

Double Barrel Shotgun: Heavy caliber shotgun, usually fires both barrels at once, 12 damage per pellet, 18 pellets per shell.
	Buckshot - (white) 
	Slug - (green) 
	Slug/Buckshot - (blue) 
	AT Buckshot - (red)
	Xslug - (yellow) - 200/200 splash damage, fires one barrel at a time. 
 
Double Barrel Flashlight: Light caliber buckshot shotgun, fires one barrel at a time, 12 damage per pellet, 8 pellets per shell. 

Hand Grenades: 3 types of grenades, short fuse, napalm, and laser trip mine. The type of grenade is determined by how long you hold the grenade.
	Short fuse - use the quick release method to toss a short fuse grenade. The grenade will explode after it travels a 		short distance.
	Napalm - hold the grenade longer than the quick release time but less than 2 seconds. The grenade will explode 			shortly after it lands, creating a fire that will burn for 20 seconds. 
	Laser trip mine - hold the grenade for longer than two seconds and an activation buzzer will sound indicating that 		the grenade is now a laser trip mine. Throw it and it will activate soon after it lands. It will send out a 		rotating beam that will cause the grenade to explode if the beam touches a creature.  

(*Note*) This mod uses flashlights instead of the crosshair. They tend to wander around a bit and don't allow for precision shooting. This is especially noticable in the Auto Trigger mode where the firing point is where the crosshair used to be and not where the lasersight is floating about. It may take some target practice to get used to.
