What it does:
By using modified hight maps and specular maps, this graphical mod/teak
brings greater sharpness and detail to Doom3. The difference looks fantastic
and does not seem to have an effect on performance.

Installation:
1.) Unzip to a temporary folder.
2.) Copy the .pk4 file located in the temporary folder.
3.) Open a mod folder within the doom3 base folder.
4.) Drop the .pk4 file into this folder.
6.) Start the game and load the mod you put the new .pk4 file into.
5.) Enjoy.

Example: BattleReady users will simply copy the pk4 file into the BattleReady folder
in the doom3 base folder. Then load the mod like normal.

Comments:
First, I dont think these skins are perfect so I am open to community suggestions. No
flaming "Those totally suck!"s please.

Second, I didnt do anything special. I looked at the xion pack of skins and liked the way
the details on the skins jumped right out of my screen. I was gona just tweak those a little
and use them with BattleReady but then I noticed his wonderful copywrite thingy. Butthead... he
didnt even leave an email so i could ask permission. So I opened up his files and did some
experimenting. For all the non believers, he did make some significant changes to the main skins,
but for the hightmaps [the important 'detail' comonent] all he really seemed to do was mess with contrast.
So, basically, all I did to make these new 'skins' is significantly enhance the hightmaps and
specular maps for the textures. The results look awesome.

This really wasnt to difficult to do, about thirty minutes of time in Photoshop 7 and I was done.

If you would like to use these skins in your mod, go right ahead, just please, give me some credit
for my intense half our of work. =) [although this seems kinda irrelevant since I am releasing the
skins as a totally stand alone enhancement; you can use them with any mod out there]
