For those of you that have not been able to enjoy DoomChronicles due to Linux, this download is here to put a smile on your face; This small patch adds the promised Linux support for the current release of DoomChronicles (v0.21), with this patch Linux users can play and/or host games and they can also join Windows-based servers...it also works in reverse, Windows users can join Linux-based servers.

For those of you that have been in a coma, or living in a commune, and are wondering what this mod is all about, then read on: DoomChronicles is a modification for Doom3 that revamps the multiplayer experience with the addition of many features; This mod aims to provide an improved multiplayer experience by bringing a mix of classic and new gameplay elements and improved technical aspects to Doom3, and is more centered on creating a solid gameplay than having high customization abilities. The bots support all of DoomChronicles features including the alternate fire of weapons and are capable of using elevators, jumppads and teleporters to navigate the maps; this release also improves network performance by fixing an issue causing excessive bandwidth usage.

INSTALLATION

Note: Archiving software (WinZip, WinRAR, WinAce or similar) may be
required for successful installation.

|::| Open with the archiving software of choice and extract the
contents of the .zip file.

|::| Move the extracted file (dc_game02_nux.pk4) to your DoomChroniclesMP folder

|::| Start Doom 3 and click on the "Mods" button, select "DoomChroniclesMP"
from the list and click on the "Load Mod" button.

|::| Once the mod has been launched, look for, or create, a multiplayer game.

Note: This update requires DoomChronicles v0.21 installed.
Note: DoomChronicles requires Doom3 with v1.3.1 patch installed.
