When I began this mod, I was only interested to change two things: a more realistic shotgun feature and no crosshair. After few days, I saw I can make more, much more ... because of the Doom3 engine capacities. Then I decided to make Double, the mod that doubles damages with lots of optional features.

This mod can be played in single and multiplayer modes, but most of the modifications are only enabled in single mode.

I hope you will have fun with my mod as I have fun to made it.

Double Doom 3

	- Version 1.4

Mod details :

	- For Doom3, version 1.0.1282, patch 1.1
	- Double player and monsters damages, double visual shader effects, no crosshair with hud displayed, burning soul visual effect, recall spawn visual effect, cacodemon can spawn lostsouls, zombies can respawn, player can hear strange sounds like the other marines, non flying monsters can aleatory spawn, demons walk and run velocity are doubled, flame color and damage depend of monster state, non boss and non flying monsters can health regen, almost demons have new sounds, the six first weapons have new sounds, almost demons have new skins, almost weapons have new skins.

How to install and play :

	- uncommpress the archive in the Doom 3 directory.
	- make a shortcut and add '+set fs_game Double' to the file name in its properties.
	- use this shortcut to lauch the game.
	- otherwise, after uncompress the archive, use the mod menu to launch this mod is a good idea.

Remarks :

	- modify it as you want, take any part of it ... but do not forget to cite me.
	- use it with an other mod is not a good idea. You may experience unexpected crashes.
	- the game, called Doom 3, is the property of Id Games. I did not modify the files of the game, I only made news ones to change the rules.
	- remember that buy this game is the best way to play with.

What does this mod ?

	This mod use several Double*.pk4 files which contains specified new features. If you do not want one feature, just remove the file that contains the feature. Here is the details of the files :

	0) DoubleMenu.pk4

		- Mainmenu, Start, Restart and Credits : display new interface.

	1) DoublePlayer.pk4

		- Speed : exchage walk and run.
		- Heath : 200 max.
		- Armor : 200 max.

	2) DoubleCrosshair.pk4

		- Crosshair : removed but hud is not hide.

	3) DoubleShader.pk4

		- Shader : double specular factor and map effects.

	4) DoubleWeapon.pk4

		- Pistol : double damage.
		- Shotgun : better accuracy, double projectiles and then damage, double clip size, reload shells one by one, can not fire until the current shell is reloaded.
		- Machinegun : better accuracy, double damage, double fire rate time.
		- Chaingun : better accuracy, double damage, double fire rate time.
		- Plasmagun : double damage, double fire rate, double projectile velocity.
		- Rocketlauncher : better accuracy, double damage, double radius, double knockback, double fire delay.
		- Bfg : double damage, double radius, double knockback, double fire rate, double fire delay, never overcharge.

	5) DoubleMonster.pk4

		- Turret : double damage, double fire rate time.
		- ZombieSecurityPistol : better accuracy, double damage.
		- ZombieSecurityShield : better accuracy, double damage.
		- ZombieSecurityShotgun : better accuracy, double projectiles and then damage.
		- ZombieSecurityMachinegun : better accuracy, double damage, double fire rate time.
		- ZombieCommandoChaingun : better accuracy, double damage, double fire rate time.
		- DemonHellKnight : no gravity effect on fireball, double projectile velocity.
		- DemonImp : no gravity effect on fireball, double projectile velocity.
		- DemonManCumbus : double projectile velocity.
		- DemonRevenant : double projectile velocity.
		- FlyingCacodemon : double projectile velocity.

	6) DoubleMulti.pk4

		- Enables 'Double' rules to multiplayer game.

	7) DoubleFlame.pk4

		- Burning soul : add flame effects around non flying monsters.
		- Teleport : add recall spawn effect when demons are dying.
		- Flame color and damage : depends of monster state.
		- Non boss and non flying monsters : can fully health regen while fighting.

	8) DoubleCacodemon.pk4

		- FlyingCacodemon : spawn lostsouls.

	9) DoubleZombie.pk4

		- All zombies : can respawn if its corpse is not immedialely destroyed.

	10) DoubleSpawn.pk4

		- Player : can hear strange sounds and can temporary lost the control of his weapon if he does not move.
		- Monsters : can aleatory spawn.

	11) DoubleDemon.pk4

		- Demons : walk and run velocity are doubled, but crawl one is not.

	12) DoubleSound.pk4

		- Demons : have new sounds. The list is all demons but cherub and bosses.
		- Weapons : have new sounds. The list is pistol, shotgun, machinegun, chaingun, grenade and plasmagun.

	13) DoubleSkin.pk4

		- Demons : have new skins. The list is all demons but tick and bosses.
		- Weapons : have new skins. The list is pistol, shotgun, machinegun, chaingun, grenade, rocketlauncher, bfg and chainsaw.

	Remark :

		- Use your old savegames with this mod crashes the game.
		- Sometimes, the game will not properly displays visual effects or badly lauches new monsters. Just save the game, quit and relaunch.
