This sample level from Last Man Standing team is a great opening to the purpose of their mod: figthing hordes of enemies at a wild pace across multiple levels.

Don't expect to live a single breathing space in this one! I traditionally don't like that much this sort of relentless gameplay but I have found this one entertaining eventually :) This is in most part due to its great sound track that perfectly fits the action. It plays like a gauntlet i.e. after each wave of enemies you defeat, you are given a stronger weapon (you begin with just a chain saw).

It doesn't last long but its action is intense. Those of you who have played and enjoyed the original DOOM games will probably enjoy it!

Instructions:
Put the zip in your Doom3/base folder then extract the archive using the directory structure of the zip (or you could manually put the fortcomp named files in the base/maps folder and the other files, the sound ones, in base/sound).  Then load up doom3 and hold ctrl + alt + ~  (~ is located above your tab key).  Then type in map fortcomp10.  Enjoy!

Performance Suggestions:
If you are getting a lot of lag there are a few things you can do to improve gameplay.
1) Turn off shadows (under advanced in options -> system)
2) Lower the doom 3 video quality level in options -> system
3) Unzip the .pk4 files in your doom3/base folder

Graphic Quality Comments:
I realize that this map could look a lot better graphically but gameplay and performance were my main concerns, not prettyness.  It was decided in the group that everyone would rather have me working on the next project rather than trying to make this map look super pretty when it wasn't really that necessary anyway.  However, if there is a large community demand for better quality graphics in this map then I'll do something about it, but if not, then I'll most likely just let it stand as is.

Stuff that we wanted to possibly add: (and will based on demand, and what you will probably see in future maps)
1) A countdown timer in the computer screens for when each wave will commence.  Our mapper who was supposed to make that happen is MIA
2) Actual light sources, and better lighting (blue lights in the hall)
3) Moveable objects
4) Better texturing
5) More general details (corpses, blood, soda cans, etc)
6) LMS loading splash screen

Probably more but I'm forgetting them at the momment.  Feel free to suggest any.

I really hope you all enjoy my map. And as a note this map is beatable without cheats.  Both me and altheus were able to beat it without cheats so we know it is possible.  Good luck!
