Doom 3 Coop Mod Last Man Standing Version Beta 0.2 http://lms.d3files.com/ irc.gamesurge.net channel #lms-mod
Instructions: You can either use the installer or use the archive that is provided. To use the archive, put it in the doom3 folder (not the base folder) and unzip the archive. After using the installer or archive, load up doom 3, hit the mods button, and select Last Man Standing Beta 0.2 from the list. You should now be ready to kick some horde ass, enjoy.
Performance Suggestions: If you are getting a lot of lag there are a few things you can do to improve gameplay. 1) Turn off shadows (under advanced in options -> system) 2) Lower the doom 3 video quality level in options -> system 3) Defrag your hard drive
Beta 0.2 Feature List:
General- (Check the manual for a more complete list with more information) Coop!! Updates to the Menu, now includes the ability to configure most of the options if not all. There is a server option to use four different difficulty levels for players of varying skill When more players join the monsters get stronger. If a player levels the monsters get weaker. And a lot more!!
Weapons- (note: Models for the double barrel and plasmathrower were unfortunately not completed for this release, but will hopefully be in the next one)
Weapons were tweaked to decrease lag. The chaingun has a higher rate of fire now and is more realistic.

There's a lot of new stuff in this release compared to that last one, I'm very excited about the progress it's had. I'm glad we can finally release LMS with coop support as it is so cool to play with your friends and not against them. A lot of time has been spent by both iten and me to get this mod to work in coop, i hope you enjoy this first coop version.
Beerman: It's been a massive month here at LMS as far as raw progress goes. Coop is working fantastically, more maps have been added and old ones have been reworked, we've seen the addition of new team members, and many other exciting things. This Beta's really looking sweet and I Guarantee you'll have a blast playing it!!
This one is for the team, thanks for all your dedication to the mod and making this one of the best experiences I have ever had. Just hanging out with you guys, working on the mod, and just doing what we like, I couldn't possibly have any more fun. Friends till the end.
I just want to thank the team so much for how much effort they've put into this mod. This Beta was a lot more stressful since we were dealing with a completely new turf but we stuck with it and were able to produce something extremely fun to play. Thanks for all of your efforts guys, it is such an honor to work with such dedicated and talented people. I hope that you'll like this release, as a huge effort was made by the team to get it out this soon. A month to add as huge and changing of a feature as coop is, well, quite amazing. This wasn't just the coders' release, almost every map had to be changed a bit, if not radically modified. This release isn't perfect, I would say that it probably deserves its beta status. But frankly, not that much stands in our way right now. The main issue, of course, is lag, and that issue has been rectified a lot, to the point where it isn't much worse than normal Doom 3 MP, in some cases better thanks to AO's improvements. We've tried to work with the limitations of Doom 3's multiplayer, but the lag is an issue that we can't really fix very easily. That said, I do think that you'll enjoy it. Just be sure to report any bugs you find to us, no matter how small.

Romero? Not quite. I'm not gonna really repeat the same stuff I said in my beta 0.1 comments, cuz co-op is the real draw with beta 2 - all I can say is iten and AO have been working their assess off on it, and it pwnes. We've also cooked up some new maps for y'all. As always, Beerman and Timbo's are insanely graphical, as are Kaiser's - I've tried to keep mine pretty simple tho (masking my lack of artistic visualization skills) and let the gameplay speak for itself. Hope you all enjoy this release as much as we've enjoyed making it!

First, my english is very bad so.... Second, I'm very happy to work in the mod. I'm slow on making maps but I'm doing my best for all the peoples who have been disappointed by the doom3 multiplayer. I hope you enjoy it!
Sup ppl, LMS Coop is finally here.... prepare for the REAL Doom 3 multiplayer experience. This release is alot bigger than the last in terms of technology and content so we will need feedback more than ever. All suggestions should be forwarded to us through our online IRC channels or our web-page forums... Hope you enjoy playing as much as we all enjoyed making it.
