This is a pack of materials for D3 made by me, Lt_Commander They all include evetything that a texture can have, and were made to educate new texture makers on what goes into making materials that are reflective, have non-smooth surfaces, etc. Included are four textures, three metals and a glass. The glass has a cool engraved design on it, and all of the textures come in tga's, for those who can't use .dds files. I'm not rating, mainly because I may be slightly impartial. Lt_Commander's Material Texture Addon Pack (1.0) _______________ Description: This is a pack of textures that are nothing more than new metal and glass textures. They come complete with standard, diffuse, specular, and bump maps. I'm releasing this to the public to prove that you can make and use new shaders, and give new people examples to what's involved. _______________ Installation and usage: To install the new shaders, simply copy and paste the "metals_ltcmdr.pk4" to the "Doom3/base/" directory. To use in a custom map, you need to insert the following shader names for the wall/cieling/floor/window textures: textures/metals_ltcmdr/metal2 textures/metals_ltcmdr/metal003 textures/metals_ltcmdr/metal1 textures/glass_ltcmdr/SFCglass Load up your custom map, and presto! There they are, slightly sheened, translucent and all. _______________ Permissions: I made this to educate, as well as to map (a skill that eludes me).
