The new Pro Evolution Soccer game has been announced in addition to a a multi-year global partnership between Konami and Barcelona Football Club. It guarantees extensive rights to the Nou Camp, Barcelona's stadium and their players with Konami earlier in the year conducting full 3D scans of Barcelona's players.
The new game will available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via the Steam store on September 10th this year in Europe, Asia and the America. It will be released on September 12th in Japan, pre-orders are available now for the standard and legend editions of the game.
It seems Konami are looking to tap into the global fanbase of Barcelona to increase their share in the market compared to Fifa which still has the market share in the Football/Soccer game market. If any of you are also wondering why Konami have pre-fixed their title officially "eFootball" we're also wondering the same, a lot of head scratching going on here at GameFront!
