Frontier have released their previously behind-closed-doors look at Planet Zoo, with the new trailer featuring a whopping 17 minutes of gameplay footage, with commentary from the developers showing us how the game mechanics will work, as well as looking at a range of various types of animal exhibits.
The attention to detail in the game is worth noting, with some of the best quality animation we've seen, as well as a fairly unique system that will allow each animal to have it's own appearance and traits, many of which can be inherited from parents.
Building the appropriate habitats for each animal is critical, and knowing which animals may be able to share an enclosure is important, as is building appropriate landscapes and areas for the animals to keep them healthy and happy. Many elements from Planet Coaster return, though, including themes, shops and refreshment stands, and the highly impressive building customization tools.
One enhancement now is that buildings can be entered, and not just viewed from the outside, and there's even a few rides, too, although don't expect to be building any mega coasters, you can build various rides to take guests easily around your park, for example.
Frontier confirmed the game would be releasing on November 5th this year, and frankly, I can't wait.
