Chrissstrahl presents the second patch for GSIO01's Enterprise-E RPG Map for Elite Force 2.

This patch adds a few new features and corrects a few of the small bugs, included in this list of additions are;

  • Added Interactive Turbolift Menu
  • Added Toggle Viewscreen
  • Added Mini-Mission

For those that enjoyed this fantastic map in the beginning, your going to have even more fun with it now. I was somewhat bemused by the addition of the Earth Defense scenario, as RPG maps generally aren't supposed to have any guiding effect on possible plots. However all in all this is a well put together patch and is a required download for anyone wanting to have RPG-X style turbolifts.

1.	A copy of Star Trek: Elite Force II, (patched 1.1).

2.	GSIO's Star Trek: Elite Force II, Enterprise E
	Role-Playing-Game Map, (rpg_enterprise_e).

-	Turbolift script has been upgraded. You need
	to be inside of the Turbolift to travel with it.
	Credits for additional suggestion goes to [dM]Modboy.
-	Turbolift Hud has been added (phase 1 of 2).
-	Misspellings have been corrected. Credit goes to 
	Jhamel, who informed us about.[Quarters,Library]
-	Viewscreen On/off Trigger added at the OPS.
	Credit for additional suggestions goes to Erk.
-	Moved the Shuttle ($type11) to the Shuttlebay
	lift2 (middle one).
-	The HZM Lcars ST-X Health Hud is now included.
-	Included PSD source files for the included huds.
-	Included a scenario example. Voyager and Enterprise
	are defending Earth, against a Borg Sphere.
	Credit for additional suggestions and testing
	goes to [dM]Warlord	and [dM]Riddick.
	This scenario can be started at astrometrics.
-	Turbolifts are now Working, you can access all
	decks now without cheats. This is the first
	version of the Turbolift System, a Menu will
	maybe come soon, depending on the community activity.
-	Corrected multiple small script bugs.
-	Added Info at the Armory when ever you pickup
	or drop a weapon.
-	Replaced the static Laptop in the Ready Room
	with a interactive Laptop.
-	Added Physics Vars for Gravity and MoveSpeed.
-	Added a Shuttle (notsolid) at Deck 7b, targetname
	is '$type11'.
-	Added a routine to unarm the players, take the ugly
	Voyager Phaser away from them and equip them with
	the Phaser-STX and Tricorder-STX.
-	Ready Room Door is now Usable and no longer locked.
-	Static Viewscreen SkyModel Covered with a 'script_model'
	equivalent, targetnamed '$viewscreenSky'.
-	Edited the MNI-file to allow voting this map at all
	save game Modes in Multiplayer via Menu.

	This Update is for the official Alpha-Version.
	Download now the Alpha version at www.effiles.com

1.	Please remove the file 'zzzz_rpg_enterprise_e_alpha.pk3'
	in your 'base' folder if there is one.
2.	Ensure you have the file 'rpg_enterprise_e_alpha.pk3'
	in your 'base' folder, else download it at:
3.	Copy any *.pk3 files in this Zip-Archive in to
	your Star Trek: Elite Force II 'base' folder.

1.	To de-install the Patch:
	Please remove the file 'zzzz_rpg_enterprise_e_alpha.pk3'
	in your 'base' folder if there is one.
2.	To de-install the LCARS HealthHud Modification:
	Please remove the file 'zz_advanced_health_hud_mod.pk3'
	in your 'base' folder if there is one.

	The 'base' folder is the data folder of EF2,
	here the game stores all it's game-data.
	The game-data is stored in *.pk3 files.
	Which are Quake3 Media Archives technically
	they are just renamed Zip Files(deflat32).

	The Elite Force II 'base' folder is located
	within the Game directory, you need to go
	to the location you have installed the game
	'Star Trek: Elite Force II'.
	EXAMPLE: c:\games\activision\EF2\base\

	In this folder are more files with the extension
	.pk3. If you can't find	your base folder simply
	search for the file 'pak0.pk3' using windows file
	search.	Of course with out the qoutes ( ' ) !
