Remember plz this is not a vote for the next co-op Mod release.
The next Co-Op Mod release will include maps of the Mission 8 <Idryll Planet>.
You shall vote for a map you wish to play in a deathmatch, like a 1v1 or a 2v2 or what ever, with ctf, tdm, bd, etc... ...regular weapon, regular Items all regular stuff.
State the maps you vote please!
I think I don't need to tell you how much we all appreciate that you take temporary care over this site again. :D

Enterprise and Dallas seem like awesome ideas. Can each ship's maps be combined into a single map?
|#6 - Posted by: Chrissstrahl (Member) on 09-18-2008 at 07:43|
@#5 No I'm afraid that would be a little to much.
This would require month to just combine two maps on a legal way.
And few weeks to combine them in a illegal way.
It's possible to have teleporters at diffrent locations and unlock doors, place items, lights, etc, but a solid wall stays a solid wall, you could say that the world will stay as it is.

I meant in the same context as the RPG Enterprise-E map. That uses a transporter to serve as a turbolift. Would such a thing work for the the regular Enterprise-E or Dallas maps?

Rituals maps are separated, they are in different maps, GSIO his enterprise is all in one big map file, so there it is possible to get to another deck because it is on the same map.
It is possible to make something like the the turbolifts, so you walk some where and the next second you are some where else on the same map.

I never knew that it was hard to put two .map files in one.
Don't you just press the Import button? I mean it should be legal since you're using stuff in the same game.

The Map Files of ef2 have never been released, there are only a hand full map-files released from over about 68 maps.

True the only .map files that have ever been released were fan made and that is the rpg enterprise .map files :(

The three most interesting maps have been released with the ef2 GDK: dm_ctf_station.map, m4l1a-attrexian_station.map, m10l1-romulan_installation.map
From what I heard the ef1 maps have all been released.
At last thanks to the engine of ef2 we don't need to install ef1 to get a change in the maps. It is possible to alter maps in ef2 with scripts and such, unfortunately no one wants to... ...I plan to alter one of the regular singleplayer maps in a legal way and release it under a different name as deathmatch/ctf map.
