I voted for the intrepid-core. Just one question: Weren't there 2 different Constitution Refit Cores? One that looks like the Intrepid's and one like the Galaxy's.

Yeah in the movies where a core was shown, all Constitution-class refit cores were different, but I voted for the Constitution because I loved the one is Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

I always thought the Intrepids and Constitution Refitt (TMP) Core looked like if they had to put something shiny in the scene, no matter if it fits the stated funktion. While the Galaxy's Warpcore looked ... right, with these pulsed lights going to the Dilithiumchamper were the M/A reaction starts. The Intrepids core was just a kind of Nebula waving in a glas, realy stupid even if you think of radiation. So i had to wote for the Galays core. Ps.: Sorry for the long text in my bad english

I like the shiny effect of the intrepid's core. As for the Dilithium Matrix, I always figured it was above or below the visible section and accessible by jefferies tube. And for the radiation they use a containment field on all core models.

Nobody realizes that the Intrepid core is the same core used in the first two Trek films. So, voting for the Intrepid core is a vote for the Constitution-refit core!

Well the Intrepid and original Constitution refit use the same projection system, but they use slightly different projections, the Constitution's being a bit more subtle.
