Despite some minor flaws this is a very cool map and dare I say it - original. What we have here is 2 giant keyboards on both sides, and like all keyboards, they make sounds. There are also several tubes on each side which are basically a jumppad and they will shoot you to the other side of the map. When you touch the bottom of these tubes you will hear a guitar sound - each tube has a different sound. Right before the keyboards are a few floating platforms which you can use to get the quad in the center of the map. The black 'crosses' on the floor are cussions which you can use to safely jump down.
It should be said that this map requires the 1.3 mod/patch. Things may not function properly without the mod.
Ctf MetalHed by Tman This is a quickie map I made in about 3 weeks. A ctf map based around two giant keyboards it uses alot of sounds (which is why the file size is so HUGE - sorry), makes use of some (but not many) of the new features of the 1.3 mod/patch and probably wont run smoothly unless you have a Pentium 5 and a Radeon X1800 XT PE . This map REQUIRES the 1.3 mod/patch to be installed. Get it at EFFILES.COM Since there arent too may maps for the 1.3 patch/mod and to avoid confusion for those not familar with it, I'm going to provide some instructions how to install it: Unzip the mod; Be sure to leave um13_0.pk3 in the UM13 folder, then place the UM13 folder in your Star Trek Voyager Elite Force folder <NOT YOUR BASEF FOLDER> or it wont work correctly. (You can safely delete the mapping tools folder.) Load the mod from the ingame menu OR to make it simpler just put the following in the "target" box of a shortcut, this will launch EF and load the mod at the same time. EXAMPLE: "C:\Program Files\Raven\Star Trek Voyager Elite Force\stvoyHM.exe" +set fs_game um13 OR if you want to lauch a specific map add the follwing: +map EXAMPLE: "C:\Program Files\Raven\Star Trek Voyager Elite Force\stvoyHM.exe" +set fs_game um13 +map ctf_metalhed Nuff said bang yer hed
