File Description

A small/medium sized map, Observatory still is a nice map! The map does look very visually "pretty" (or aesthetically pleasing, whichever you like ;)) A very neat map with two bases facing each other with a crosswalk between them. The crosswalk simply contains health pickups, while weapons can be found within the bases. The flags are placed at a rather tricky spot and might be a bit hard to get to, especially if under fire and in a hurry! The bases also have pools at the lowest level which connect to the middle-area pool through tunnels. Another way to enter/exit the bases are two corridors that are semi-underground. The map also has some small details all around that really help complete it. The only minor, little thing that seemed could hinder gameplay were the tight ramps on the sides of the bases that are used to get between the different levels. Besides that, I highly recommend you check this map out!

   A straight up Capture the Flag map... Big open spaces and tiny tiny spaces.. plenty of room for a good chase. Tested anywhere at two players to 16 players (a stretch). 

   One of my older maps, recently re-compiled with q3map2 to get rid of old errors. One of my prettier maps.

Map details:

- Used GTKRadient, Q3ASE, Adobe Photoshop, and PakScape
- About 25 hours total construction time 
- 29 hour compile time
- 1855 Brushes 
- 263 Entities 
- 62 lights (46 spotlights) 

-=Notes about the lack of Bot Support=-

Unfortunately, this map doesn't have bot support. After two near 30-hour compiles, I kept coming up with leaks in the Bspc. Map has no leaks, yet the bot Generator says it does. I have no idea to fix this...Which means no bots. Sorry :(
