This map was originally released back in 2001 and is a low-res map of the outer hull of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D. As the map takes place in space the gravity is very low and therefor the bots usually tend to fall off the hull from time to time, which leads to sometimes pretty weird end results. It's great for online matches though, the best chance of surviving is either to get a hold of the Photon burst on top of the brigde or to defend the shuttle bay which is the only inner location acessable.
Death Match: Enterprise Hull Walk (DM_1701-D) Description Low gravity walk on the hull of the Enterprise D. Low graphical detail on the ship to minimise lag and keep the frame rate as high as possible The warp engines are squared off and contained in braces, this is due to Radiant not liking curved or cut glass textures or glass touching glass. One interior, the main shuttle bay behind the bridge, including a shuttle craft. The shuttle bay is not based on the actual layout of the Enterprise shuttle bay. Weaponry: Phaser Compression Rifle, Infinity Modulator, Scavenger Rifle Stasis Weapon, Tetryon Pulse Disruptor, Photon Burst, Arc Welder Power-ups: Emergency Hypospray, Ultritium Explosive Charge, Isokinetic Deflector Screen, Quantum Weapon Enhancer, Anti-Gravity Pack, Temporal Accelerator, Incremental Shield Boost, Portable Medkit No ammo for Tetryon Pulse Disruptor, Photon Burst or Arc Welder, but you start with full ammo for these weapons. There are few weapons, so you really have to fight to stay alive. Players This map has bot support. I recommend it for up to 16 players. It is a TDM and FFA map and so does not feature CTF support. ############## #Installation# ############## Copy the .pk3 file into your BaseEF folder: C:\Program Files\Raven\Star Trek Voyager Elite Force\BaseEF and it should be available from the in game menu. Once installed, you can type '/map dm_1701-d' in the console to play right away. You must use the CD to play with bots Thanks to Paul Cross for the initial idea [USS Voyager] Huge thanks to Buffalo, spFox and spQuantumSlipstream for testing it for me (-: DM_1701-D was created by Charlie's Angel email@example.com http://www.geocities.com/charliesangelsmaps/Bridge.html Monday 2nd April 2001 02/04/01 22:41 If you would like to test future maps, or have any constructive comments to make, please e-mail me "For Mr, Mrs and Tina Spoon, may they always go to Button Moon"
