September 5 2001 ================================================================ Model Name : ED-209 installation directory : \baseef EF Converter : Eric2534 Author, Skin Author : Alcor Email Address : firstname.lastname@example.org HomePage : http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/cottages/alcor/ Model description : The Enforcement Droid Model 209 is a revolutionary type of police agent. His main program function is to scare you, and if you are not scared, he'll kill you! Built to be mobile on any kind of terrain, he's particulary skilful to go down stairs, fast. If he ever gives you any order, you better follow what he said, and pray there's no bug in his program! Other info : As before I converted the UT version of Ed-209 for Q3A. From the UT readme: After I finished Robocop, I thought that he'd feel alone in the arena. Why not create his best friend Ed-209? I had quite a lot of fun doing Eddy. His legs are quite complex to animate, a really weird hierarchy. I beleive that's the main reason why the model never been done before for the death match games. The polycount is lower that what I expected, and by much. As for Robocop, the model needed quite a little skinning job, because most parts are painted with the Environment map. The sounds are taken from the DVD. Have fun with this beast and his pal Robocop! ================================================================ * Play Information * New Sounds : Yes CTF Skins : Yes VWEP Support : Yes * Construction * Poly Count : Model 870, 503, 177 Vert Count : Model 1167, 446, 184 Skin Count : 3 Editors used : StudioMax3, CharacterStudio, Photoshop6, q3data, md3compile, NotePad, ASUS DVD, Sound Forge. known Bugs : * How to use this model * Extract efmdl-Ed-209.pk3 into your baseef folder.
