Practically the only thing remaining intact is the two bridges connecting the bases. Two main bases are completely different and are littered with circular pads, these are jumps pads like those commonly used in quake3. These make the bases full of action, and speed up stealing the flag. (but not capturing)

Description:       Full version,
		   Geothermal Station3 is a heavily modified version of the
                   original favorite map of every EF player; geothermal station.
                   Practically the only thing remaining intact is the two 
                   bridges connecting the bases. two main bases are 
                   completely different and are littered with circular pads,

Installation:     -Extract the pk3 file into your Elite Force\BaseEF folder.
                  -all additional textures / shaders have been included

Time:			Created over a 2week period.
Vis Time:		119.3 minutes  (1h 59mins)
Light Time:		light 125.85 minutes (2h 5mins) - this is due to there
			being 422 light emitting surfaces, which drastically 
			increases the light time. The main surfaces being the 
			lava, which has subdivisional lighting set to 128, which
			is a lot of lights for such a large area!
Known Bugs/Nigglys     -if you get a problem with the sky appearing as a grid, blame it on
			someone else. There's a problem with a 3rd party map / model which 
			(i think) has a badly defined shader. 
		       -the i-mod and scavenger weapons / ammo are lit red in the blue base
			for some reason. I think this is because of the lava light showing
			through the floor. Can't be bothered to find out and fix it tho
		       -the circular hole in the floor above where the flag used to be has
			some visual artifacts at the curve seams.
		       -sometimes you aren't pulled out of the lava by the lower jump pad, 
			but sometimes you are. Best avoid falling in the lava.
		       -bots (when only 1 per team) stay around the flag area, campers!!
		       -the shadows on the curved section of the bridges go all ape. Not sure why

			    map i've ever seen from quake3 called flatiron8-beta9. Couldn't
			    find any information on the author or texture credits tho.

			    a couple of problem areas.
