info: Originally this was going to be my entry for Geo Comp 4. I wanted to do something that was not the standard GC entry. I felt the traditional 'carved' GeoComp style had been done to death, so I aimed to do something different to the norm. Still using less than 10 textures (aside from the models I added later), but looks like far more. The brushes that form the organic rock stuff are as complicated as any previous GeoComp style map. These apparently simply looking natural formations are offset against intricate 'man-made' architecture. However, in the end the map turned out to be just a little too far removed from the idea of GC, so I junked it as my entry and built a more traditional map. This level remains as a successful in its own right, if not what I originally intended it to be.
