Jurassic Park Readme

This is my 4th map. I made this map for the ctf mapping challenge together with the Wolpheonix and darthVADER. The goal: remake Jurassic Park as good as possible. Unfortunatly, it was impossible to remake the whole island, since the Elite Force HM engine doesn't support that. And so doesn't your video-card ;) But me and darthVADER made buildings, that were most seen in the movie: The visitor center, the bunker, the velociraptor-cage, the doors to the park and of course: the t-rex paddock with demolished car!

I had to make the surface A LOT smaller then I intented, just to make sure it would compile and your framerate wouldn't suffer a lot. So don't look at the size please. After all, it's almost the biggest map you'll find for Elite Force. I tried to place the buildings at the right places, just like in the movie.


			    How do you use this map?
Copy JP.pk3 into your BaseEF directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Star Trek Voyager Elite Force\BaseEF\). Then it depends on whether you want to play Free for All (deathmatch) or Capture the Flag. See below:

-Free for All (deathmatch)
 Start Holomatch. Click on 'Multi-Match' and then on 'Create Server'. Choose as game type 'Free For All' and click on 'Continue'. Now scroll to our map wich is called "Jurassic Park'. Select it and configure (if you wish) the time limit and/or the fraglimit. Select the Holografic  Caracters and click on 'Engage'. Jurassic Park should load now.

-Capture the Flag
 Start Holomatch. Click on 'Multi-Match' and then on 'Create Server'. Choose as game type 'Capture the Flag' and click on 'Continue'. Now scroll to our map wich is called 'Jurassic Park'. Select it and configure (if you wish) the time limit and/or the Capture limit. Select the Holografic Caracters and on wich theam you want them (red or blue) and click on 'Engage'. Jurassic Park should load now.

Known bugs:				Yes: strange looking leak-errors, but they arren't leak errors. Can't solve them :( Just walk through them.

Warning: This is a huge open-air map, so I suggest you've a fast PC and/or you degrade some Holomatch settings like the resolution.

- Textures

Thanks to M. Kupfer for letting me use his textures from Dangercity.
darthVADER made the textures used on the cars.
Cmdr Chakotay (Me!) made the rest of the textures as far as I know ;)

- Mapping

darthVADER made the outside of the visitor center, the bunker and the surface of the 'island'.
I made the inside of the visitor center, the cars, the t-rex paddock and the velociraptor-cage.

- Ideas
Originally, I was building a harbor, when HorckDude suggested to make a few broken cages on a ship where dinosours escaped. I did. But the harbor wasn't very promising and the idea was born to remake Jurassic Park. So HorckDude, Thanks :D !!! I signed up for the mapping challenge where HorckDude informed me about. Then, the Wolpheonix joined my 'team'. He knew quite a lot about Jurassic Park (he hasn't any mapping experience though). Then, I met darthVADER on the Ravenboards. He wanted to make the outside of the visitor center. After that, the bunker. That was fine with me, so I asked him to join our team. He accepted.
