Pretty nice map, but lack a bit of detail at some place. Hard to find the flag spot of a team. Complexe, using custom shader, textures and models.

Pretty nice.

Also, if you get MAX_SHADERS hit in EF, just do a /vid_restart 

in the console to fix it.





Before you begin

----------------

Remember that if you haven't done so already, to

/set com_hunkmegs 128

in Elite Force to allow it load larger maps (such as this one!)





To begin - aka Installation

---------------------------

Just place the pk3 in baseEF alongside wvmeier.pk3 (the first release) 

which is available at http://www.effiles.com/file.info?ID=17725 .

Run either through the Holomatch menu system or using 

/map meier2





Secrets

-------

No, I'm not going to tell you how to do them :)

However they include:

-the neatest little tunnel you'll ever see - lets just say

  "now you see it, now you don't"

-the bar

-the portal room (hop around that map!)

Almost every secret from v1 has changed some way to make it a little 

more interesting.





Information

-----------

Well, I didn't expect to see the map on reactor's server almost 24/7, 

and after playing it on there with people, a few bugs came to light 

and a few requests too...after being nagged for a while I agreed to 

make a v2 of Meier's Mansion. At first I was just going to fix bugs 

and add a few more secrets...then as always I went slightly overboard 

and added a fair amount more :) I also altered a lot of the current 

secrets to make them slightly harder to find.



And onto the original readme stuff.....



I'm a large fan on Manga (Japanese Anime Films - NOT CARTOONS!) such as 

Akira, Urotsukidoji and, of course, Vampire Hunter D and Vampire 

Hunter D: Bloodlust. Meier Link is a vampire from the VHD films and all 

he has is a very weird place to rest (it's a glass building that's just 

square from the exterior), near the end of the second film however he 

goes to visit a vampire queen who lives in a HUGE mansion/castle. Meier 

is one of my favorite characters so I decided I'd model a mansion for 

him :) Originally I was going to do it really dark similar to the queen's 

mansion then I decided to go for a more suttle approach with darker area's 

(such as the crypt with Meier's coffin).





A while ago I was making a map called SGWorld for Elite Force, I didn't 

realise it but I managed to make it a tad too big for EF... to the point 

where I would have had to cut the map in half to get it to work O.o So it 

was scrapped. However, I've managed to use several parts of that map in 

this one, such as the club (yes, there is a club!), sewer system (what?! 

you've still not found it?!) and various textures.
