Oni Link



Here is an adaptation of that badass version of Link also known as Fierce Dieity Link you can get in the game Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Although hes kinda short, and his faerie dosent move, hes still a great addition to anybody's collection.

This is a model of Oni Link - a version of Nintendo's well known "Link" character from the "Legend of Zelda" series of games. In the latest N64 game ("Majora's Mask"), Link could transform into this incredibly powerful character by donning a magical mask.  The mesh for the model was built from scratch by Deimos and skinned by Kman.  Animation was done using character Studio and Paul Steed's .bip files (Lucy's death animations were used, as were the upper body animations of Doom, and the lower body animations of Visor, as these animations seem to fit the way Link moves in the N64 game.  The taunt was animated from scratch by Deimos).  Sounds are from Zelda64, while the bot was randomly generated using Doktor's botstudio.  This is my first Q3A model (i've previously only made models for Q2), and marks my return to the Polycount community after a long period of absence.


Having defeated "Majora's Wrath" at the end of "Majora's Mask", Link attempts to travel back to Hyrule.  However, the portal he enters takes him not to Hyrule, but to the Arenas of the Vadrigar, where he joins the ranks of other warriors fighting to satisfy the bloody-thirsty alien overlords.  Faced with weapons with such destructive powers as the BFG and railgun, Link dons his "Fierce Deity" mask and learns to wield the weapons of the arena, in the hope that one day he may yet return to Hyrule...
