QBall Overview

QBall is a server-side teamplay modification for ST:V HM v1.20.  Two teams
battle for possession of the single QBall.  Teams score by launching the QBall
into goals.  Clients must bind +use to launch the QBall.  Since QBall is coded
in virtual machine bytecode, it is compatible with any platform that runs ST:V
HM v1.20.

How To Run A QBall Server

Run ST:V HM with the following command-line parameters:
+set fs_game qball +set dedicated 2 +exec qball.cfg

How To Configure Additional Maps
---------------------------------
Every map must have a specific set of coordinates for the QBall to initially
spawn.  Conventionally this burden belongs to the map designer.  Since QBall
supports all CTF maps, these coordinates must be explicitly configured with the
following cvars:
g_qballOriginX #
g_qballOriginY #
g_qballOriginZ #

How To Design Maps For QBall
---------------------------------
QBall goals will automatically replace all CTF flags.  The goals occupy a
volume of 9 cubic map units.  In the map documentation, specify QBall origin
coordinates.  The QBall itself also occupies a volume of 9 cubic map units.

002     - Scoring bugfix
003     - Personal transporter returns the QBall
          Weapon respawn time adheres to g_weaponrespawn and g_adaptrespawn
          QBall drops when carrier is fragged ( can be disabled with g_dropQBall 0 )
          Powerups drop ( can be disabled with g_dropPowerups 0 )
          QBall carrier icon added (Q)
          Additional points for assists
          Improved QBall physics for dynamic map objects
004     - QBall carrier icon no longer shows in chat
          Self bounce pass ( can be disabled with g_qballSelfBouncePass 0 )
          Vertical bounce option ( can be disabled with g_qballZBounce 0 )
          Single alarm only sounds when the QBall changes team possession
          Due to enhanced self passing, self pass messages no longer show
          Increased QBall velocity
