This weapons mod offers 6 new models which modify the Tetrion Pulse Disruptor. Only one pk3 should be used at any given time, if you wish to change to a different model you will need to remove the old pk3 and replace it with another pk3 from the zip file. The new weapons are very nicely done and most importantly there is variety between all of them. Indicators, projectiles, and other effects, have been changed to ones that suit the weapon best. All weapon icons and ammo icons have been changed appropriatly, so has the ammo. I was surprised to see that they glow in the dark, that is really great! :D Some of the sounds have been replaced with new ones. You have to admit, the sound are getting a bit boring as the years go by. According to the readme the alien crystal powder has been replaced by Starfleet energy.

I could go on for ages about the weapon effects, however, the readme and the individual readme's describe it very well. All I am saying is download download download :)

Hello and welcome to my TPD Multipack, which as the name suggests, is a pack of varoius Tetryon Pulse Disruptor modifications. I started this before Christmas 2003, but didn't do a lot. Finally I finished it, and here it is! There will be successive versions, containing more weapons, and fixes to existing ones. I am new to modding, and I hope this meets with everyones approval.

These are mostly retextures, but I am working on some new weapon models. However, I have replaced that god awful low-res TPD model. Indicators, projectiles, and other effects, have been changed to ones that I hope befit the weapon well. All weapon icons and ammo icons have been changed appropriatly, however all the flashes are a kind of orange colour.

All ammo models now glow, so that they can be seen in especially dark maps, and there are some new ammo models too!

All labels, weapon names and ammo names ahave been changed appropraite to the weapon. This includes weapon buttons in holomatch. Even in the Voyager tour mode, the weapon descriptions have been changed.

Weapon sounds have been changed as well as the sound that is played when you click its button in holomatch. Sometimes I couldn't find speech to make the sound of the weapons name, so I have put other effects in its place. Some of the weapon sounds have not changed, but most of the Altfire sounds have.

On some of these weapons, they no longer use alien crystal power, they now use starfleet power, because some of them are meant to be federation weapons. Also, the proton gun's ammo is like the phaser. I did this because I figured that if the proton gun was just a holographic thing, then why would it use starfleet ammo, or even run out of ammo?

There are no known bugs, because I have been over them very closely, but if there are tell me.

A quick tip for other weapon modders: If you want to modify the files called items.dat and weapons.dat, take them from pak3, because it is more up-to-date and contains the proton gun. If you do not, then you can't have the proton gun, and some maps won't load up. Also, if you want the weapon to work fully, then at the begining of the .pk3 name add "pak". (For example pakWeaponMod.pk3)

Instructions:
=========
To make these work, all you need to do is unzip all the files to maybe another folder perhaps, (or not), then when you want to use one of them, simply copy to your BaseEF folder, and away you go, you can play straight away. These files should only modify the TPD, and other thiongs I have mentioned. If it modifies anything else, I’m Sorry.
