Upsilon is a very open medium sized map made for Disintegration (it does work in other modes as well, though). The geometry is slightly similar to the Voy-theme maps, so the map is not all that strange to get used to. The jump pads are a great addition to the map. They offer some quick movement between and around the bases. A single jump pad at the end of each base throws you to a floating platform which has the flag. Two transporters also take you to the flag platform. Ammo and pickups are scattered everywhere in reg mode. Most are found around pillars in each base. The textures used were a bit putting off. They are very repetitive and do not have a lot of variation. The lack of any visible lighting also contributed to the bland effect.

Overall, I'd say the gameplay of the map should suit a Dis game well, however, it lacks a bit in the aesthetic department.

This is my second map. I put a lot of time into it... it was basically done for over a month, but because of FPS issues it had to be reworked. I built this map 98%+ from scratch... It uses a combination of Q3 and KLN textures.... so in a way its something new and special. I mainly had the disintegration mod in mind when making this map, so it means this map is fast. It's also a great map for reg mod, there are tricks that can be done with the photons & launch pads, and, if timing is right, you can use a detpack to basically blow yourself halfway across the map (and not get killed) from the flagpost after a jump. It's great for specialties too... though too many techies may make gameplay more of a challenge. It's also foolproof for the low-grav players... means that a player wont fall behind the flag area if the gravity is low. 

Thank you Sniper (also from SFEF) for compiling the map and helping me to understand the FPS issues on this map.
