The epic war for control of the galaxy rages on in LucasArts and Petroglyph's upcoming PC RTS, Star Wars: Empire at War. Set between Episodes III and IV, the game chronicles the Empire's rise to power and battles against the Rebellion. Set across more than 40 actual Star Wars locations such as Tatooine, Yavin IV, and Dagobah, you'll crush enemies in space, then land on a planet's surface and deploy troops or even AT-ATs to go and obliterate the opposition. You can even take control of the Death Star and harness its ultimate power, or use numerous X-wings to destroy it, and Darth Vader and Obi Wan Kenobi can be inserted into the fray to rack up kills. The game has been designed in such a way that both casual and core gamers can pick it up and immediately achieve success, and the action is constantly persistent, so the outcomes of various missions and battles will forever effect the entire galaxy.
