File Description

The idea for this map came while I was fooling around with the editor. I'd just discovered leveling, and I was messing with it on this swamp stage, creating huge -1000 deep pits. I noticed they were filled with water. Eventually almost all of the land was underwater, and when I saw the remaining high ground I thought, 'hey, they look like little islands!' So I created a volcanic map, increased the size to big, filled it with lava and made islands. Then I created land bridges between the islands, and added necessary structures. I also inserted a few surprises... heheheh... Early issues in creating this map. Well, I forgot to add possibility, so when I started up the map, I had soldiers and vehicles going across the lava. And the non-hovering or flying units, since the land is leveled under the water(lava), were disappearing. Really they were traversing the land under water level, and I thought this was really funny. Indeed, you will often see units on narrow passes go off the edge, and even under the lava!. But don't worry, they can't go far.

Hi!
I'm MasterDRD, the creator of this map. It's really more of a testmap though, so don't expect an instant classic.
(It's my first map, so be gentle...)

Some issues may occur, but nothing serious. Some of the structures start destroyed, so you may need to rebuild those.
Also, when it starts there may be an odd darkness. To solve this, simply zoom out until you can see the whole map. Voila!

If you have any ideas or constructive criticism, feel free to tell me about it in comment form. And if anybody knows how to resolve some of the issues, or adds things to the map on their own time,
please tell me. Then I can test out the improved version and maybe update it on filefront.

To install, simply place the map file in your custom maps folder. Don't know where that is? Search for it.
