Diverse Conflicts – Three
Diverse Conflicts has returned with 16 maps (some remade of previous DC editions).
We'll be having conflicts in the following systems:
• Coruscant • Mon Calamari • Kaut • Taris • Tatooine • Dagobah • Korriban • Bespin • Kessel • Hoth
I have created a clean Map Editor Space Walkthrough for everyone to learn how to create their own space maps. This map package also has hidden Easter eggs throughout the maps; such as Ewoks, environment arrangements (e.g. rock formations) and ships.
Your comments/suggestions are welcome. Enjoy.

To play on these maps; load up your game and create a skirmish match or host a Multiplayer game and click on the CUSTOM MAPS button just under the OFFICIAL MAPS button. The Diverse Conflicts maps are now tagged with [DC] in front of them (DC standing for Diverse Conflicts). ------------ Additional Maps – (LOW QUALITY – See the "(HIGH QUALITY) DC3 Descriptions & Stragety" document version for better understanding outline below!) ------------ Note: that the Korriban, Dagobah, Kessel and Bespin maps are not listed (these were last minute additions!), Tatooine System Space: Battle Over Tatooine • 6 Player • Factions - Rebel - Imperial - Black Sun The Pirates are at it again! It’s Zero Hour; the two suns hide behind the planet while the fierce three factions savagely destroy one another: the Rebellion, Galactic Empire and the Black Sun Pirates; who are attempting to evacuate Jabba’s guests in their stolen Venator-Class Star Destroyers. This map is mainly for rushing/open combat. The map size is scaled to keep the combat continuous. Plenty of Black Sun resistance for a third faction distraction; but can be eliminated quickly. Resource stations by your Star Base are already captured and ready for build. Once you have eliminated your adversaries, invade Tatooine; where we will explore the treacherous inhabitants of the Dune Sea… Land: Tatooine BattleFront – The Dune Sea • 4 Player • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial - Jawa - Sand People - Black Sun - Anchorhead Civilians Research has been done (movies/books/internet/games) to accurately pin point locations roughly relevant to the Star Wars canon to be in sync with the Star Wars realism. You’ll find that this map’s environment are strikingly detailed to the official Tatooine maps from the game, preserving the game-play quality to be familiar but yet have its uniqueness of strategic game-play; keeping all players on alert and focused from making fatal errors. The indigenous species in this map make them selves known; the fact that this is the Dune Sea clearly gives you a taste of: - Sand people enclave - Jawa salvages - The famous location of Jabba’s Palace - Black Sun establishments - Krayt Dragon cave (known location of the Star Map in SW:KotOR) - Rancor caves - The Sarlacc pit of doom - Anchorhead City (known location from SW:KotOR) This map has open combat field setup for large battle – and various tactical ways to eliminate the opposition. This map demonstrates that indigenous units will join as a third faction threat for all players. In order to acquire resources on the map, you may need to combat the defending indigenous units that refuse to relinquish their territory. Hoth System Space: Blockade Over Hoth • 8 Player • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial - Black Sun Pirates The final hours of the hidden rebellion base has begun! This map supports eight players. The use of fighter squadrons is required to combat within “Hoth’s Asteroid Field”. The map has plenty of resources with one orbital construction pod and small pirate resistance that can be wiped out easy by hitting the resource container pods. Heh… I wonder if the Falcon is still hiding in the asteroids... Hmmm… *caugh* hinting Easter egg *cough*. Once you have defeated your nemesis in space, its time to take the battle to the ground and save echo base… or destroy it? Land: Echo Base Assault • 4 Player • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial Small map layout for immediate battle sessions. This map was an old version that was never released and has been slightly modified in environment and weather settings (This map now can be played in day/night; however this setting is random when the game starts). Aside from the small map; a future land six player edition of the Hoth System is in the works. Taris System Space: Battle Over Taris • 4 Player • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial - Taris Security Force The Taris boarder security isn’t all to pleased with the conflictions of Rebel and Imperial forces in orbit. It’s causing some severe damage in economic trade. Taris, daringly sending their brave star fighter pilots to help end the conflict… but which side are they on? This map is a relevantly a simple layout for quick combat sessions; but as discovered, can also continue for long sessions depending how experiences players are at the map itself. Land: Taris BattleFront • 4 Player • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial Fun layout converted for Multiplayer use with some modifications of my own. This map is very exciting to play on with other players; and challenging tactical ways to eliminate your opponent. Plenty of resources to support four players. Find the hidden Ewok!!! Mon Calamari System Space: Mon Calamari Shipyards • 6 Players • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial - Mon Calamari Security Force - Pirate Raiders The Mon Calamari Shipyards are being harassed by Pirate Raiders that have intentions of capturing/raiding Mon Calamari technology. However; as you will witness, their attempts are futile. This map is a fair layout with a reasonable size for close 6 player combat. The Asteroid fields are thick; so fighter squadrons are recommended to bypass and retrieve resources. The other two factions (Mon Calamari Security Force and the Pirate Raiders) are NOT friendly. They will attack if harassed. The MC Security Force does have a capital ship operational; and the Pirates do have a substantial fleet (but probably already decimated by the MC Security Force before you ever meet them). Watch out for asteroids; and set shields double front! Land: Mon Calamari BattleFront • 4 Players • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial Ripped from the SW: EAW directory; and made compatible for four player use, this map is relatively simple combat layout. Kuat System Space: Kuat Shipyards • 6 Players • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial This map has been modified from its original… new lighting, supports six players, larger and looks better. This map is wide open combat; great for capital ships to broadside the dry-docks or just assaulting at full force towards the enemy base. Recommended map! Land: Kuat BattleFront • 4 Player • Factions: - Rebel - Imperial - Civilians Simple layout and modified from its original to support more players and close combat sessions. Easy environment with a (Easter egg) hidden Ewok stranded desperate for some help *wink* (Personally, I’d just do a bombing run over it lol). Coruscant System Space: Battle Over Coruscant • 8 Player • Factions: - Rebel - Rebellion Fleet - Imperial - Imperial Fleet • Note: - The “Rebel” and “Imperial” Fleet factions are privately conflicting with each other below the map over the planet… they are not meant to be attacked; but just there for display. If you do, however, attack them; they will retaliate – but even if you do, you succeed at nothing and wasting time/resources. Oh and… you can’t control these fleets… there scripted AI’s for just attacking each other. Magic… Well… here it is… the remake of the first Coruscant space map in Diverse Conflicts One. It’s been slightly improved and balanced. Wide open space for heavy capital ship combating. Each faction (excluding the “Fleet” factions) have three space stations that can each level up to level five; and continuously spawn ships for you to keep the flow of the combat going. Enjoy, this is the first step of Coruscant’s fate! Land: Coruscant BattleFront – Assault On The Jedi Temple • 6 Players • Factions - Rebel - Imperial - Civilians • Compatibility Issues: - You will definitely need to set your video settings as low as possible to reduce the low FPS (Frames-Per-Second) rate... there is a lot going on in this map; and does really stretch the limits of the game. This map is large and balanced for extremely huge and tactical combat sessions. The bases for the Rebels and Imperials are HUGE and are supported with over 6 or 7 shield generators… so Power Generators do play a big role in this map. Go for the POWER GENERATORS first… or you’ll be fighting for nothing… there both open for attack to give everyone a fair opportunity of winning. Air strikes, such as bombing runs, are recommended to end the combat quickly as possible (you’ll understand why when you’re playing a full game…). Keep in mind that everyone has an extra Barrack to keep the flow of troops going; and a hidden secret area in the map to gain extra resources… Good luck… And may the force be with you… ------------ REPORT BUGS/ERRORS/GLITCHES ------------ Feel free to post below the bugs/glitches and they’ll be patched! KNOWN BUGS: - It might be a possibility issue trying to win the game until all pirate factions are eliminated. ------------ Special Message – Easter Eggs! ------------ This DC3 map package comes with a bunch of hidden Easter eggs. Find the hidden Ewoks and environmental messages! ------------ Legal Stuff - Agreement ------------ I rather have my maps not modified or stripped of their contents (e.g. making youself a new map out of my maps in this package). Each one of these maps distributed in this package is marked with a digital signature in my name and its original sources. To cut this all short: Do Not Use My Stuff. When you download/install/play these maps you formally agree to the statement above. If you REALLY wan't to make yourself a map, I made a walkthrough for you :) ------------ Credits ------------ Teh uber roxx0r maps are made by: Sev1207
