gavin456b brings us a map entitled "Empire & Rebel Palace". So as to not mislead you, I am going to state here that what I assume the author means to be the palaces are just bases.
There is a rebel base in one corner of the map, and the imperial one in the opposite corner. Spanning the diagonal width of the map is a forest, and within that are hidden some rancors. There are a couple of reinforcement points in the forest aswell. Each faction starts with a Mining Facility in their base.
Visually this map has both its pros and cons. at the same time. The placement of the props is good, and creates a believeable forest. However, the map is completely flat, and there are approximately three textures used in total. Even some minor height variation would make this map look so much better, and the author should consider it for the next version. As I said before, there are only three textures on the map. This makes it look a bit unrealistic. I suggest the author look at how petroglyph maps are textured, and try to imitate that. Also, there is a lack of passability and markers that limit gameplay. The author should definately look into changing and fixing this in the next version.
The map could make for some fun gameplay, so give it a download if you want.
