I've made up a GC for both singleplayer and multiplayer, as well as adding a few units (new and old) to the game. This was born out of there not being a GC I wanted to play, so I made my own.

The GC is called "In The Beginning", both the Imps and Rebels start was 3 planets, the lowest tech you can give them and 4,000cr.

Rebels: I wanted to make the rebels look more ragtag, so they start with a couple of Venators (stolen after the clone wars), some v-Wing and Z-95 squadrons and a few Corvettes. They have Naboo (not Hoth as its too easy to get Bespin from there), Yavin and Bonadan.

Imps: The Imps also start with a couple of Venators, Acclamators, and Tartans, and have Coruscant, Byss and Fresia.

Pirates: The are a LOT more pirates around, they now own 23 of the 43 planets, so a lot of the early game is about conquering pirate planets, watch out as they have a few surprises on certain planets.

Installing
----------

1. Unzip the files to \Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\ directory, it should unpack itself into the right places.
2. Run the game by click on the PlaySandMod.bat file in the GameData directory (you can always make a shortcut on you desktop if that's too much effort)
3. Go to singleplayer, GC and it should be in the list.
4. Should be similar for multiplayer
5. Enjoy!!! (hopefully)

Campaign
--------

- Singleplayer GC "In The Beginning"
- Multiplayer GC "In The Beginning"
- Added new Heroes into all singleplayer GC's
- Added new Heroes into all multiplayer GC's
- A small story element has been added to the Rebel version of "In The Beginning", it's the only way to unlock the X-Wing. I'm just trying it out at the moment, more missions might be introduced in later versions.

Heroes
------

- Unlocked Mara Jade and Kyle Katarn for singleplayer and space skirmish
- Moldy Crow added for Kyle (with Sensor Ping and Lure abilities)
- Mara Jade's Z-95 Headhunter added (with Invulnerability ability)
- Jan Dodonna (fleet commander) added

Units
-----

- Unlocked the Z-95 Headhunter for the Rebels
- Replaced the Con. Missiles on the Venator with Proton Torps
- Wookiee Troopers added for the Rebels (with Power to Weapons ability) only available from Kashyyyk
- Imperial Repair Droids added for Imps (with Turret control and Repair Vehicle ability) only available from Carida
- A few old units made available for pirates, I'll let you find those in game (or you could just go through the XML I guess)

Camera
------

- Adjusted the land tactical camera so it pulls further out

Balance
-------

- Adjusted the X-wings & Tie's to be slightly more powerful
- Adjusted the Z-95's to be slightly less powerful and cheaper
- Hopefully i've tweaked the new units enough to be about right, but it will be a work in progress for a while

| Known Problems |
------------------

- AI might be a bit crap on the new GC, it tends to start quite slow so I gave it a small boost to begin with.
- Mara's Z-95 doesn't display the 'invulnerability' particle effect when it's in use. I've had a lot of trouble with the abilities as there hardcoded but I'm working on getting Mara's effect going.
- Again no 'power to weapons' red glow on the wookiees either. Also the ability doesn't have the timer effect on the GUI button. It does only last for the 10 second limit though.
- I wanted Barrage for the Wookiees but it didn't work, that's more of a personal gripe then a problem.
