File Description

Here is Free Spirit City. An objective map evolved from my race track. It seemed a shame not to create something from this. ok i've got things roughly in the right place. Just have to hollow out a building for the objective and maybe some more around the city area just to make fighting from street to street more interesting. And develop some others, create new ones & destroy others so as to make it flow nice. i'll leave all flat areas free [for now] for deploys except critical areas so as to get feedback as to whats hot and whats not.

objectives atm: Gdf 1. Bottom left will be a bunker with a couple maybe three entrances under the hill. GDF must build the err thing, not sure what yet. Think the first objective in island and thats the kind of thing im going for. 2 escort mcp to city limits. 3 hack the shield 4 destroy objective inside building [see pic] 5 dance on strogg graves.

Strogg defend and cruise city.

So come on lets clean up this town.

Thanks again for all the feedback. I've not made all the changes requested.
But the main change has been the first objective which needed a slight leg up for GDF. Though i would suggest having more than 1 engineer on your team. 

Change Log :
1. Added new capturable spawn for GDF at the first objective [bunker].
2. Adjusted territories to take into account the above change.
3. Fixed all minor bugs and glitches ie missing textures.
4. Moved Strogg first spawn to outside of bunker.
5. Reduced build time on first objective by half.
6. Added vo anouncement on first objective for a half build.
7. Added more cover in tunnel. Lorry traffic accident.
8. Fixed MCP route mask.
9. Adjusted deployment mask to restrict deploys away from MCP route.
10.Updated megatexture to include tree shadows that went AWOL in b1

Theres also a couple of surprises added.


Installation :
Extract the zip into your "../Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars/base" folder.

Important - Please delete the previous version of this map.
Which would normally be located in your ---
"../Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars/base" folder.

If you auto downloaded the previous version from a server
the .pk4 may be located in ---
C:Documents and Settings****Local SettingsApplication Dataid SoftwareEnemy Territory - QUAKE Warsbase

Also delete the previous version of the megatexture which may be located in ---
C:Documents and Settings****Local SettingsApplication Dataid SoftwareEnemy Territory - QUAKE Warsbasemegatextures
