With renewed interest in the Fallout modding scene thanks to the upcoming Fallout 76, it’s not just Fallout 4 mods such as Nothern Springs hitting the headlines this week, as the still popular New Vegas is getting a major new mod, too.

Modder Lolpop109 made the announcement of the new project this past week, which is now available to download in Alpha. It introduces the Fallout universe to the world of Atlanta, with brand new areas to explore, all—new quests, and brand new weapons and items.

Much like Northern Springs, this new mod acts as a sort of unofficial DLC for New Vegas, and while the entrance to the new area is currently something of a placeholder, being behind the gas station in Good Springs, this is set to change as the mod develops.

Welcome to Atlanta, the trading hub of the south and one of the ‘must-visit cites’ in post-apocalyptic America 2280. There’s plenty to see and there’s plenty to do in one of America’s culturally rich cites. Explore the likes of the world of Nuka Cola and the Super Duper theme park. Take a trip to the memorial park or even take a boat ride down the Chattahoochee River.

You won’t struggle for a place to stay either, with rooms available at peach tree towers and The Marquis Hotel. Wondering how to get here? With two Airports located just outside the city, Atlanta International Airport and Fulton County Airport, you can fly right into the action.

Live more local or fancy a road trip? Atlanta is severed with excellent highways and has rail links. Don’t miss out on your chance to experience one of Americas finest city’s. Book your stay today.

But if you’re interested in checking out the mod in it’s alpha form, you can check it out here.
