Here to wow you with his newest release is the Network's very own FFxSTALKERx! He has ventured out of his own Network site to bring a smile to your face and to add a little goodness to your Far Cry 2 gaming experience. If you're the type to be up for a challenge, and you're kind of squeamish about tight maps with too much cover, then boy, are you about to download something different! There are some structures and objects around for use as cover, however, to get to these safe havens will be the hard part!
Open Wide is just as it sounds. Its a wide open map centering around an old airfield, train station and gas station that provides very little cover for those trading bullets with each other. This is a large map set in a Savannah setting that will require some teamwork to get things done (unless, of coarse, if you play Deathmatch) as flanking, distractions (FFxSTALKERx recommends large wildfires) and plain old luck to get from one base to the other in the wide open terrain.
As with any new game on the market, this developer leaves us with a note: "Keep in mind this is my first time mapping for any game, so any comments, criticisms or suggestions are appreciated." Prepare yourself for some serious Far Cry 2 action...if you think you have what it takes to walk away with bragging rights, then start your download now, and get together with up to 15 of your friends for some fragging to remember!
