Hello everyone,
It is official now, a sequel to Far Cry is in the works and will of course wear the title Far Cry 2. The good, or maybe bad news first, the game will not be developed by CryTek but UbiSoft themselves. A first release is planned for the 4th quarter of 2005, since the production of the Far Cry expansion is still in the works this is more than unsure though.
There is not much known about Far Cry 2 yet beside that UbiSoft's main effort lies on a highly improved Cry Engine. To see what I mean you should maybe check out the first official screenshots below. :)
